Premium apple brand Kiku participated for the second time with an own booth at Fruitlogistica, including for the first time some of the 26 global marketing partner: Slovakian Bonifructi, Italian Gebrüder Clementi, South African Core and German Salemfrucht. The result was good traffic, many customers visits and potential buyers in new markets. Big interest was shown for brandnew slush ice, and Kiku is busy starting the collaborations with the tourism in various countries. Promo material was an eye-catcher, especially the wakeboard created by US partner Cmi for promo in warm areas like Florida. Big prints showed the Kiku Music Contest 2014, the Kiku athletes – especially at Olympics in Sochi – and events like the mountain festival Kiku.IMS. High appreciation for new packaging like “Mini Kikus and “Kiku Little Friends”, created for the trend towards smaller portions. Customers appreciated the effort to offer 12 months a fresh product. Indeed, licensed partners and distributors attended Fruitlogistica and met at Kiku booth for specific meetings to review global strategies. Next occasion will be the Kiku booth at Asia Fruitlogistica 2014 in HongKong. The slowakian company also presented Isaaq, the recently released “natural snack” apple. Being a compact apple, with a sweet-tart taste, Isaaq positions itself as a convenient and ideal apple for small portions. Indeed tastings convinced many people, and new projects are being developed globally. The first Isaaq global meeting took place in Berlin as well.
